180 Degrees from Ordinary – Windstar Cruises has launched this initiative featuring added amenities and enhancements to the line’s three motor sailing yachts – the 308 guest Wind Surf and 148 guest Wind Star and Wind Spirit. This initiative encompasses the five areas that anchor the line’s overall guest experience – dining, accommodations, service, destinations and activities. 

Upgraded mattresses and luxury bed linens, pampering bathroom amenity baskets, flat screen TV’s together with DVD and CD players plus a Bose SoundDock for Apple iPods feature in all staterooms.

With a guest to crew ratio of less than 2:1, unobtrusive and gracious service is provided by incomparable crew. Providing lemon-scented frozen towels on hot days as well as refreshing on-deck sorbets. In-stateroom course-by-course dining via 24 hour room service is also a new feature.

On-deck hammocks provide prime spot relaxations areas under billowing sails. The water-sports platform offers complimentary kayaking, water skiing and snorkelling. Personal laptops with wireless connectivity in public areas on all three ships is also available.
